This website exists because great hair information is genuinely hard to find. Not the kind that looks good on Pinterest. The kind that actually helps you make better decisions about your hair in real life, with your real hair type, your real budget, and your real amount of time in the morning.

That gap between what is available and what is actually useful is exactly why we built this.

Vivienne Hart Founder, Hairs Glam

My name is Vivienne Hart and I have been writing about hair for eight years.

I did not start because I had great hair. I started because I had terrible hair and I could not find honest, specific information about how to fix it.

I spent years doing what most people do following generic advice that did not account for my hair type, trying products that worked for everyone online but not for me, attempting colour processes at home that went sideways because nobody told me the parts that actually matter. I went through the damage, the breakage, the bad trims, the colours that were supposed to look one way and looked completely different. The whole thing.

What came out of all of that was something genuinely useful. Because fixing hair that has been through a lot requires learning how hair actually works not at a surface level but at the level of porosity and protein and moisture balance and the specific needs of specific hair types. I learned all of it the hard way and I have spent the past eight years writing about it in a way that means other people do not have to.

Hairs Glam is the website I wish had existed when I was starting out.

What We Cover

We write about four things and we take all four of them seriously.

Hair Care is where everything starts for us. Because colour fades faster on damaged hair. Because even the best haircut grows out badly on hair that is not healthy. Because every styling technique works better on hair that has been properly looked after. We cover moisture and protein balance, scalp health, damage repair, growth, heat protection, and how to build a hair care routine that genuinely works for your specific hair rather than hair in general.

Hair Colour is exciting and complicated and widely misunderstood. The gap between how colour processes look on social media and what they actually involve is enormous. We try to close that gap. We explain techniques properly, we are honest about which hair types suit which approaches, we talk about maintenance in real terms, and we give at home colour the same serious treatment we give to professional techniques.

Haircuts matter more than most people realise until they get a genuinely great one and understand immediately what they have been missing. We write about cuts with real attention to face shape, hair texture, lifestyle, and the honest reality of what maintenance actually looks like day to day.

Hairstyles are where the fun is. But we write about them honestly, which means being clear about what each style actually requires in terms of time, skill, and starting hair condition. No technique looks as easy in real life as it does in a 30 second video. We tell you what you actually need to know before you try something.

What We Will Not Do

We will not recommend a product because someone paid us to.

We will not describe a technique as easy when it is not.

We will not show you a result without being honest about what it took to get there.

We will not write content that makes you feel bad about your hair so you will click on something.

That is not the kind of website we want to run and it is not the kind of content we want to put into the world.
